Wings racks up the miles

Wings, Ian Edwards' Dehler 46, is ready to take on the long journey ahead to Noumea. Having sailed 42,000nm in 6 years, since its launch, the owner and crew are ready to keep the mile counter ticking.

Wings has solidified its reputation as a dominant force in offshore yacht racing, having competed in prestigious events worldwide. Their track record includes multiple appearances in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and the Ponant Sydney Noumea Yacht Race. Additionally, Wings has participated in two Groupama Around New Caledonia Races.

In 2023, Wings tackled the challenging 2,200nm LA to Hawaii Transpac Yacht Race, followed by a return voyage from Hawaii to Sydney. These feats have only fueled the team's ambition, as they now set their sights on the long offshore race to Noumea.
